Frequently Asked questions (faqs)

"How far will you travel for in-home family therapy?"

30 miles radial distance from Rochester, MN. In-home and community based therapy options vary based on therapist availability; requests are reviewed on a case by case basis.

"Why are diagnostic assessments more expensive for children aged 5 and under?"

In short, because they are significantly longer. Due to the focus on developmental normativity, there are more screeners and observations required to rule out diagnoses when assessing a child younger than 5 years old. The increased price reflects additional time required to complete the diagnostic interview, gather collateral reports, complete screeners and assessments, conceptualization, and author the report. Most assessments are completed within 3-5 sessions.

"What platformS do you use to connect to video sessions?"

Video sessions are completed via Zoom. You will receive a confirmation email shortly after booking and a link to join the private session via email the day of the appointment.
